She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Carlisle and Dewey Carlisle; and her sisters, Nancy Couch and Bonnie Westbrooks. She is survived by: her husband Joel Slater Baker of Kennesaw; her children, Bambi Baker McLaughlin (John) of Powder Springs, Joel S. Baker, Jr. (Vicki) of Mableton and Patricia Baker Diffey (Chris) of Birmingham, AL.; her grandchildren, Stephen McLaughlin (Rachel), Erin Evans (Brad), Evan Baker (Evie), Belinda Maloy (Derek), Morgan Diffey, James Diffey and Matthew Diffey; and her great grandchildren, Madison Evans, Landon Evans, Micah Evans, Natalie Evans, Becket Maloy, Owen Maloy, Ezra Baker and Oliver Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Acts 1:8 Mission Fund at Roswell Street Baptist Church.
