We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 86, Marguerite Nichols Pickens of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harvey and Viola Quick Nichols; and her brothers, Robert, Charles and Paul Nichols.

She is survived by: her husband James Pickens; her sons, Gregory Nichols and Josip Pickens Sr. (Denise); her grandchildren, Jessica Pickens, Eunique Nichols, Domnique Nichols Jovan Pickens, Daisha Pickens, Josip Jr. (Kamilah) and Joshua Pickens; her siblings, George, Kenneth Nichols and Mary Burns (Charles); and her uncles, Robert and Dennis Quick.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 2009 Phillips Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405.
