Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maia Santamaria of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 72, on February 5, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ribbing and Mary Ribbing. She is survived by: her husband Jose Santamaria; her daughter Clare; her grandson Nick (Sarah); her son Justin; her grandchildren, Carter and Jace; and also, Juan (Judy), Jason (Elizabeth), Maria, Stephen (Teresa), Pat (Laura), Will (Andrea), London, Heidi and Phoenix.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Maia's memory to Emory Healthcare, the Northwest Center for Independent Living, or a charity of one's choice.
