It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Franklin McDonald (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Louis Franklin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Louis Franklin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Louis Franklin McDonald, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Libba" McDonald, (Williams); his children, Madeleine McDonald and Duncan McDonald; the mother of his children Gina; his siblings, Jim (Carolyn) and Sara (David); his pet DeuxDah; and also Frank. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (435 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Lovett School or the charity of one's choice.
