Lacy Buckmaster Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 85, Lacy Buckmaster of Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lacy Buckmaster to pay them a last tribute.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lacy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lacy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Romuel Wright and Eleanor Collins Wright. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Arthur Buckmaster, Jr.; her son Samuel Arthur Buckmaster III of Memphis, TN; her granddaughter Elizabeth Katelyn "Katie" Buckmaster of Miami, FL; and her brothers, Romuel Collins Wright (Julia) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Carroll Gregory Wright (Sherry) of Bonita Springs, FL and Nicolas Massey Wright of Richardson, TX. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip (2744 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305).
