It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Olliff in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathryn Olliff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Jones Burton and Drew Frank Burton; and her grandmother Caroline Bowen Haskett (Jeff). She is survived by: her sister Arlette; her husband S. Ed Olliff; her daughter Claire Olliff Bowen; her son-in-law Ben G. Bowen of Metter; her grandchildren, Claire, Kathyrn Olliff Bowen and Mallory Claire Bowen; and also Meredith Bowen Hunter (Gary).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church (101 S Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458). During the Covid-19 pandemic, Kathryn began her baby blanket ministry, knitting more than 100 blue, pink, and white baby blankets.
