It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Mae James of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Calvin James (Smiley) and Terry James (Lena); her goddaughter Flora Eatman (Joe); her sister Doris P. Walker; her grandchildren, Carl James, Sadrena Maddox (Mitch), Craig James and Christopher James (Tanganiyka); her great grandchildren, Janiya, Jabre, Cameron, Sydney and Mckenzie; and her great great grandchild Zay're. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
