He is survived by: his mother Darlene Phillips of Atlanta, GA; his former wife Kanya Terry of Cumming, GA; his children, DeJanae Mitchell and Johnny Mitchell III of Huntsville, GA; his stepsons, Jelani Glass of Boston, MA, Kameelah Mitchell, Kalia Mitchell of Cumming, GA and Julian Mitchell of Fuquay-Varina, NC; his granddaughter Phoenix Jones of Huntsville, AL; his grandmother Dolly Kennedy-Mitchell of Oakdale, LA; his siblings, Elisha Mitchell of Oakdale, LA, Wanda Mitchell of Oakland, CA and Briana Phillips of Atlanta, GA; his uncle Glen; and his aunt Eugenia Ford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
