He was predeceased by: his son Derrick Guice, Sr.; his parents, Lucas Guice and Dorethea Guillot Guice; his siblings, Regina Greenhouse (Kenneth), Bernadette Guice, Ophelia Guice and Joseph Guice; and his parents-in-law, Florence Brooks and Simms Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lavalais Guice of Atlanta, GA; his children, Trina Wallace of Baker, LA, Antonio Ford (Subtrence) of Marksville, LA, Christal London (Endrick) of Zachary, LA, Edward Guice of Atlanta, GA, Angel Guice of Los Angeles, CA and Raquel Guice of Los Angeles, CA.; his siblings, Velita Benjamin (Leonard) of Zachary, Connie St. Romain of Marksville, Mary Wilson (Sherry Ray) of Monroe, Anna Ferraro (Perry) of Brusly, Jannis Guice of Monroe and Van Guice (Ruth) of Bunkie; his goddaughter Felicia Benjamin Guillory; and his siblings-in-law, Maverick Brooks, Melvin Brooks, Nathan Brooks (Tracey), Troy Jackson, Simmy Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, John J. Levigeg, Shantell Brooks, Tambra Ford (Harold), Vickie Arnold (Antonio), Mary Jackson and Victoria Jackson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
