With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Kilburn Hunt of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Victor Hunt and Gertrude Kilburn Hunt; his wife Inez Simpson Hunt; his son John Stephen Hunt (Robin); and his siblings, Barbara Evans and David Hunt.

He is survived by: his daughter Collyn Gomez (Don) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Morgan Gomez of Atlanta, GA, Aaron Hunt (Abi) of Parker, CO, Abby Gomez of Athens, GA, Ellie Hunt of Parker, CO and Matthew Gomez of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

The family requests that any memorials be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1438 Sheridan Rd, NE, Atlanta, GA 30324.

We recall with joy their godliness, graciousness, togetherness in peace & joy in the Lord & also their quiet humour. They welcomed us into their home & lives.
