With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Dahlander Muzzy (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Hackensack, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 84. As we bid John Dahlander farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John Dahlander is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Goodspeed Muzzy and Maria Dahlander Muzzy. He is survived by: his wife Cathryn Blaine Muzzy; his daughter Elizabeth Blaine Muzzy (Beth); his sisters, Susan Muzzy Carneal (George) of McLean and Mary Jane Muzzy Holden (Sally Muzzy Foster); his niece Susan Clark Foster; and his great-nephew Norman Armstrong III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgia Tech Foundation or Princeton University.
