He is survived by: his wife Helen Brooks; his children, Johnny Brooks (Latisia) and Adrienne Brooks; his siblings, Louise Favors, Gwen Brooks, William Brooks (Betty) and O. Gregory Brooks; his granddaughter Ebony Louis; and his great grandchildren, Elissa, Emory and Essa. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
