With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeremiah Albert Kay (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Bradenton, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Laura Ione Dodson Kay; his sister Sally Lou Kay Entzminger; and his grandparents, Charles Marshall, Sallie Isabella Robinson Kay, Charles Phillip and Margaret Elizabeth Forinash Dodson.

He is survived by: his niece Janna Kay Entzminger (Mark); his nephews, John (Deborah), Jared (Stacie) of James and Joel Cameron (Carolyn); his great-nephews, Matt, Josh, Charlie Cameron, Jacob, Josiah and Jessie Entzminger; and his caregivers, Audrey Raglan and Cordell Shorter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The J. A. Kay Library Intern Endowment Fund, South Caroliniana Library, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC 29208 or to a charity of your choice.
