Janis Mendelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 69, Janis Mendelson of Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janis Mendelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Tobias Jacobs and Rose Wexler Jacobs. She is survived by: her son Matthew Mendelson (Michelle); her grandchildren, Aden, Alana and Audrey; and her brothers, Kenneth Jacobs (Alice), Louis Jacobs (Deborah) and Harris Jacobs (Robyn). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Atlanta Memorial Park (5188 Winters Chapel Rd, Atlanta, GA 30360). A shiva will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Home of Louis and Deborah Jacobs (5610 Errol Pl NW, Atlanta, GA 30327). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, JF&CS Aviv Older Adult Services, Weinstein Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
