We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2023, at the age of 78, Janice C. Farland of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Chornyei and Clara Chornyei (French). She is survived by: her husband Richard Farland of Sterling, VA; her children, Lisa Beckett of Gainesville, VA and Travis Farland of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail Beckett and Graham Farland; and her siblings, Ernest Chornyei and Lynn Thurber of Hamilton, MT. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
