It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wesley Jones in Atlanta, Georgia, born in Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Jones and Leola Wilson Jones; his wife Judy Jones; and his siblings, Ivalyne, Elmer, Donald, Voncile and Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Merilyn Jones and James Wesley Jones Jr. (Jimmy) of Atlanta; his brother Lanier; and his sisters-in-law, Edith and Sarah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
