He is survived by: his wife Claire Smith of Griffin, Georgia; his children, Kel (Beth), Claire Anderson (Tracy) and Beth Fortune (Mike); his nephews, Paul Reid of Madison and Hunter Reid (Jeanne) of Greenville, SC; his niece Kathy R. Bangle (Jeff) of Athens; and his caregivers, Johnny, Eric Daniel of Daniel Companion and Drs. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
