It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James J. D. Crosby of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ernest Crosby and Alice Birtelle Kennedy Crosby; and his siblings, Helen C. Strickland, Wynelle C. Peacock and Carl E. Crosby.
He is survived by: his wife Alene B. Crosby; his children, Cheryl C. Findlay, Angela A. Crosby and Phillip J. Crosby; and his granddaughter Sarah F. Drushal (Dillon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Home & Crematory (85 Anthony St, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
