James Allen Moton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Allen Moton (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Moton and Ina Moton; his sister Mary Ann "Cookie" Loyd; and his grandson Julian Allen Moton. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Allen Moton (Norma) and Jeffrey Phillip Moton (Wanda); his wife Delores Louise; his grandchildren, Dana Dakers and Phillip Moton (ShaMauree); his great grandchildren, James, Langston, Dillon and Royce; and his niece Miriam Hanansi (Yachain). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and very devoted friends.
