With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James A. Barnes of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Montgomery, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on August 7, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earcy Barnes and Julia-Alice Barnes (Mills). He is survived by: his significant other Olivia Niemczuk; his sister Nancy Bryant (Bob); his niece Robin Ray; and his nephews, Shane Ray (Katie) and Joshua Ray (Amy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the University of Alabama, Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team, Atlanta Community Food Bank or WABE.
