With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline Vickers (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on November 9, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Maxine Brown, James Mays and Joann Champtal; her parents, Joe Mays and Vivian Mays; her brother Theron Mays; and her nephew Frank Peay. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests financial contributions in support of establishing an endowment in Jaci's name.

“Jaci and I were true friends over a lifetime. Neither distance nor time could ever separate us from the friendship we shared since childhood. A foundation was established that one rarely sees in this day and age. I “feel” her absence in this world . I miss her good nature and exuberant spirit. I am very sad, yet I rejoice in The Lord that decades and decades ago, He brought us together as kids and we have shared a lifetime of lifetime of living.”
