It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackson Ryan Bias (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jacqueline, George Unseld and Henry Bias. He is survived by: his parents, Kathy Thornton-Bias and Jerry B. Bias; his stepfather Michael Cox; his siblings, Samuel, Michael, Jayden, Chloe and Madison; his sister-in-law Leila; his grandparents, Walter, Jerry Sue Thornton and Jean S. Bias; his aunts, Karen Thornton and Cassandra Yarborough; and his cousins, Chelsea, Dan Yarborough, Alexandra and Kathryn Chalmers.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you make a donation, in Jackson's memory to the Steve Fund (http://www.stevefund.org) an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color.
