He is survived by: his wife Betty Elder; his son Steven Elder (Sandra); his sisters, Betty Barton, Joyce Evans and Evelyn Murphy (Wayne); his grandchildren, Dylan Elder and Shelby Elder; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Elder and Parker Elder.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA 30349).
