The memory of Henry Farmer (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Farmer and Arthur Farmer; his wife Cora Bell Farmer; his children, Pier Angelia Pope, Leroy Davis (Katie), Jerome Davis and Harold Davis (Donna); and his brothers, James Farmer (Lucille), Milton Farmer (Loveianna), Jesse Farmer (Leola) and Harvey Farmer (Sallie).
He is survived by: his children, Darryl Davis, Rudolph Davis (Nina) and Doris Albritton (Jeanette Bailey); his godson Larry Johnson; his grandchildren, Teraino Albritton, Adrian Albritton, Darius Nash, Trenika Cole, Tacara Davis, Donsha Davis, Jabari Davis, Dollnesha Pope, Tristan Davis and Victor Davis; and his close friend Shirley Holmes. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, church members, other relatives.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Herschel Thornton Mortuary (3346 M. L. K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Poplar Spring United Methodist Church (5555 Old Cascade Rd, Atlanta, GA 30331).
