She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Collett and Naomi Collett; her husband Robert Marvin Hayes, Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Bill Catharine and Mel Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Hayes Catharine of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Janet Hayes Olesen (Ray) of Cumming, Georgia, Nancy Hayes Brooks of Atlanta, Georgia, Robert Gary Hayes (Lynn) of Winder, Georgia and Patrick Marvin Hayes (Kim) of Dahlonega, Georgia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
