She was predeceased by: her parents, Buxton Thorne and Virginia Fraser Williams; and her brother Buxton Thorne Williams. She is survived by: her husband William Edward Hite; her children, Elizabeth Hite Brown, Emily Hite Hicks (Dee), Virginia Hite Martello and William Edward Hite, IV; her grandchildren, Vince Martello (Alison), Austin Hicks, Aaron Brown, Lauren Hicks Tomlin (Jason) and Leslie Brown Jerome (Allen); her sister Lillian Ann Williams; her niece Catherine "Cat" Williams; her nephew Paul Williams; and her great grandchildren, Ally, Rivers Jerome, Knox, Georgia, Woods Tomlin, Mollie, Joseph Martello and Amelia Stricklin.
