He is survived by: his father Nick George Coumanis (Glenda Coumanis) of Falls Church; his brother Dimitri Nick Coumanis (Karla) of Bay Minette; his nieces, Selena and Katie; his cousins, Georgia Halstead (Mitch), Vrachalus, Moralis and Bishop Constantine; and also Mary Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Atlanta Benevolent Fund in Memory of George Coumanis.
