He was predeceased by: his parents, George Berry and Lidia Seay Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bougher Bruce; his children, Jennifer Sosebee (B. J.) and Jonathon Bruce; his grandchildren, Katie Sosebee, Cat Sosebee Willis and J. T. Sosebee; his sister Audry Brady; his daughter Amy D. Bruce; and his siblings, Martha Mauldin and Harold Lee Bruce.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Acres Baptist Church (129 Hale Rd, Maysville, GA 30558).
His spiritual journey and contributions to the church reflected his desire to serve and uplift those around him.
