She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lawrence Manning and Margaret Evans "Pinkie" Knox; and her husband William Leonard "Billy" Vaughan M. D.. She is survived by: her daughters, Gabriella Vaughan Pittman and Laura Elizabeth Vaughan; her grandchildren, Frank Smith Pittman V, William "Knox" Pittman and Sarah Gabrielle "Ellie" Pittman; and her siblings, Margaret "Peg" Knox Morrison of William, L. M., Knox, Jr. and John Charles Knox MD. She is also survived by her family, friends.
