He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Kern and Dorothy Jane Kanash Kern. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Pollock Kern; his children, Tami Kern of Atlanta, GA and Robert M. Kern (Kathleen) of Erie; his grandchildren, Anthony Kern (Carrie) of Erie and Elyse Reinard (Marc) of Erie; his brothers, Thomas A. Kern (Lyn) of Pittsburgh and Gregory J. Kern (Wendy) of Erie; and his great grandchildren, Kora Kern and Vincent Kern.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
