He was predeceased by: his father Liberty Hill. He is survived by: his wife Mary Grace Johnson; his sons, Sherman, John H. (Buster), David (Mindy Weltman) and Ralston; his grandsons, Joshua K. (Aneela Alamgir), Michael W. (Samantha Freistat) and Charles F. (Rachel Shrewsbury); his stepgrandchildren, Jason Rowell (Lanae Gee) and Jennifer R. Moore (Shane Moore); his nephews, Mark and John; his niece Carolyn Negley (Wester); his great grandchild Lily Cox; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Phoenix, Liam Rowell, Logan Krasnow, Harper Myers, William, Georgianna and Charlotte Grace Moore; and also, John H., Jr. (Junior) and Eddie. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
