He is survived by: his wife Ethelyn Thompson; his grandchildren, Steven Thompson II, DeAnna Martin, Jeremy Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Britney Thompson, Ashlee Thompson and Alecea Thompson; his great grandchildren, Karina, Kaia, Cori, Steven III and Kevin; his siblings, Willie, Elizabeth, Larry, Mary, Hayward, James, Julius and David; and also Alton Thompson (Adarian).
