With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Martin Jr. (Atlanta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eugene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eugene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Martin Sr.; and his cousin Kirk Martin. He is survived by: his children, Darius Martin, Cherry Martin and Montrez Willis; his grandchildren, Dallas Martin, Amalia Martin and Hailey Willis; his family, Ivey Sanders and Eduardo Sanders; his mother Rev. Lilian O. Washington; and his stepdaughter Ebony Sanders.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlanta Chapel (923 McDaniel St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church (1558 Venetian Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30311).
