It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Blake Everette (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison and Lettie Blake Everette; and his sister Barbara Ann Cotton. He is survived by: his significant other Charlene Dupree; his daughters, Carla Valisa Pettis (Reginald) and Joi Everette McIntosh; his siblings, Clarence Everette and Jayne Mahboubi (Ahmad); the mother of his children Charlene Dupree Everette; his grandchildren, Rashauna Pettis, Reginald Pettis Jr., Nile McIntosh and Nijel McIntosh; his great grandchildren, Ava Brown and Phoenix Bexley; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Sherman, Edda Rose Feimster and Otha Lee Dupree Jr. (Leslie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
