She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Whittemore and John Whittemore. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Whittemore Belzer-Carroll and Anne Munroe Carroll; her husband Richard Garland Carroll; her children-in-law, Arianne and Jeff; her grandsons, Noam and Nicholas; and her siblings, Anne and John. She is also survived by spouses and children, many grandnieces and -nephews, several cousins, and innumerable friends.
