She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy "Debbie" Clay Cosgrove (Bill); her grandchildren, Katie Shields (Kirk), Cary Cosgrove (Holley) and Kimi Minor (Paul); her great grandchildren, Pace, Collier Shields of Mt. Pleasant, Henry Cosgrove of Atlantic Beach, Estelle and Marc Minor of Houston; her brother Elmer Kirk Dunn (Betty Dunn); her nephews, James Dunn (Tessa) and Kirk Dunn (Susan); her niece Julie Beck; her former husband Thomas Swift Dickey; and also Bill.

She was also known for making generous contributions to any charity associated with helping children.
