He is survived by: his parents, Clyde Allison Stevenson and Louise Holzman Stevenson; his wife Joanne Nanney Stevenson; his sons, Thomas Hewitt Stevenson of London, England Stevenson and Daniel Nanney Stevenson of Atlanta, GA; his sister Mary Stevenson Ryan (Jim) of Burlington, NC; his brother-in-law Michael McLean Nanney (Suzanne O'Malley) of Plano, TX; his nieces and nephews, Lori Bartlett (Pete) of Tampa, FL, Stephen Ryan (Laura) of Raleigh, NC, Kate Nanney (George Padis) of Dallas, TX and Jeff Nanney of Hong Kong; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matt Bartlett, Allison Bartlett, Kate Bartlett, Jim Ryan, Charlotte Ryan, Ed Ryan and Caroline Padis.
