He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bruce Smith; his daughters, Elizabeth Amelia Freeburg (Ryan) and Margaret Graham Mansour (Luke); his brothers, Howard McQueen Smith (Martha) and David Benjamin Smith (Donna); his parent-in-law Colonel Donald W. Bruce; his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Bruce Foster (Christopher), Douglas Mark Bruce (Nadene) and David Dwight Bruce (Marisa); and his pets, Tilly and Berty.
