It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Cotten Sheffield of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Rhon Sheffield; his daughters, Betsy Sheffield (Jon Fero) of Lafayette, CO and Melanie Haley (Robert) of Atlanta; his siblings, Sally Palmer, Elizabeth Brooks (Charlie) and John Sheffield (Jennie); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Annabelle Fero, Reagan, Riley and Jackson Haley.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Second-Ponce de León Baptist Church (2715 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Presbyterian College or the Atlanta Mission.
