He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Godfrey and Banks Godfrey; and his brother Banks Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his sons, Spence (Stacy) and Edward Godfrey (Jennifer); and his granddaughters, Caroline and Nora Godfrey.
