He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Chester Newsome and Mary McClendon Newsome; and his siblings, Don Newsome and Mary Ann Newsome. He is survived by: his wife Camille Newsome; his sons, Jerry Newsome (Monica) and Michael Newsome; his siblings, Gary Newsome, Gail Mullis and Janell Hebert; and his grandsons, Shane Newsome and Hunter Newsome.
