We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carol King of Atlanta, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Terrell Granger and Naomi Cheatham Granger; and her former husband Garland Grey Umberger, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Steven and Leslie; and her husband Tom King. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Arthritis Foundation.
