He was predeceased by: his parents, R. W. Whigham and Eva Miller Whigham; his siblings, Carson, Gordon, John Wayne and Verda Whigham; his nephew William Donald Whigham; and his wife Lila Kelly Whigham.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Whigham of Atlanta and Cindy Sullivan (Keith) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Phillip Whigham (Jamie) of Pelham, Amanda Catherine Whigham of Gainesville, Ann Sullivan Dossey (Joe) of Grovetown and Jennifer Rose Whigham; his great grandchildren, PJ Whigham, Maston Whigham of Pelham, Levi and Liam Dossey of Grovetown; his nephews, Charles "Chuck" Whigham of Grovetown, Gordon "Spooky" Whigham, Matthew and Mark Whigham of Roswell; his niece Lisa Lawson Whigham; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Belli Whigham of Atlanta.
