He was predeceased by: his parents, Melwood Leonard Davis Jr. and Pearlie Elizabeth Tabor Davis; his grandparents, Nellie Corden Mozer Davis, Lamar and Clara Latten Tabor; and his aunts and uncles, Larry Tabor, Aaron "Ameen Rasool" Davis, Hedi Tabor Rice and Lorna Davis Byers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Melwood Leonard Davis III of Statesville, Diedre Peet (June) of Statesville, Wanda Davis of Clemmons, Tammy Estrada of Charlotte and Cheryl Davis; his aunts and uncles, Danny Tabor of Texas, Selwyn Tabor of Statesville, Kenny Byers of Statesville, Ellis Rice of Winston Salem, Celeste Tabor of Statesville, Debrasa Lewis of Statesville, Clarissa Kennedy of Statesville and Nelda Davis of Statesville; and his close friends, Donald Crosby, Robert Hickman, Veronica Mitchell and Reatha Cowan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
