He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Heard and Easter Mae Heard; his former wife Josephine Arnold; his wife Betty Anne Heard; his siblings, Gentle, James Heard Jr. and Edward Milton; his brother-in-law Arthur Walden; his nephew Arthur Walden II; his nieces, Teresa Gurley and Beata Wilkerson; his great grandchild Arlo Evan Segura; his sisters, Carolyn Addison (Leon), Katie Mae Hamm (late Rosevelt), Diane Patton (Clovis) and Marion Copeland (late Elmo); and his children, Kesha Heard (Harry Jackson), Netoshia Heard (Lovie), Barry Heard (Robin), Zametrice Smith, Barbara Peterson (Robert), Aricisclo Rodriquez (Judith) and John Rodriquez (Daphne). He was also cherished by Grandchildren (16), Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowful friends.
