She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Guice and Pearl Guice (Jailette); her son Matthew Hallquist; her husband Ole Hallquist; her siblings, James Roy Guice, Virlyn Joseph Guice, Alton Faye Guice, Ruby Pearl Haygood and Jessie Mae Smith; and her grandson Matthew Hallquist.
She is survived by: her sons, Allan Hallquist (Carol) of Kansas City and Todd Hallquist of Ecuador; her grandson Adam Hallquist (Olivia) of San Francisco, California; her sons, Jacob Hallquist (Dallas) of Memphis, Tennessee, Devin Hallquist of San Diego, California and Benjamin Hallquist of Ecuador; her nieces, Sandra Bridges of Tifton, Georgia and Peggy Guice of Panama City; her nephew Al Guice (Olivia) of Fayetteville; her great-nephew Dr. Dale Browne (Linda) of Winston-Salem; and also, Zadie Hallquist, River Hallquist and Fisher Hallquist. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
