She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Garrett; her daughter Debbie Myler; and her siblings, Tommy Beard, Lucille Hopkins, Gloria Letchworth, Mary Zinke, Ricky Hopkins and Robbie Hopkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Arlene Garrett of Loganville, GA; her son-in-law Rick Myler; her grandson Michael Garrett Myler (Joni); her great grandchildren, Avery and Quinn Myler; and her siblings, Ed Hopkins (Eva), Peggy Benton (Larry) and Vickey Harrison (Pete). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
