He is survived by: his sister Rena Tolbert; his wife Joan Linston Moon; his children, Evelyn Brightwell (Earnest), Cynthia Moon, Timothy Moon (Ann), Ronald Moon (Jennie) and Willie Moon Jr. (Hattie); his stepson Dedric Thomas (Shureck); and his grandchildren, Arielle Thomas, Cassandra Moon, Ronald Hylton (Lisa), Melesa Moon Browner, Lacretia Moon, Brandon Mapp, Laporsha Moon, Laterrca Moon, Ronald King, Timothy Moon Jr., Brianna Moon and Tristen Jackson. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren, 10 great great-grandchildren, and hosts of nieces and nephews.
