He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lucas and Carol Roach Lucas; and his siblings, Tony Lucas and Elizabeth Hernandez. He is survived by: his stepsons, Matthew Lucas and Mason Lucas; and his sister Katrina Talley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
