It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Jones of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Spence and Jewell Paul Spence; and her husband Allen Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Leisa Jones of Smyrna and Kimberly Melton (Jeff) of Arnoldsville; her brother Charles Spence (Vickie); her granddaughter Samantha Melton (Damon Robertson); and her close friends, Martha Harper and Pam Maxwell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
